The ScottishPower Women’s Premier League top four are only separated on goal difference after wins for Hibernian and Rangers.

Spartans 6-1 Dundee United
Hearts 6-0 Queen’s Park
Montrose 0-2 Hibernian
Motherwell 4-2 Aberdeen
Partick Thistle 0-6 Rangers

Rangers went top on goal difference when hitting hosts Partick Thistle for six, Mia McAulay’s opener added to close to half-time by Rio Hardy and a Demi Falconer own-goal. Kathy Hill, Kirsty Howat and Camille Lafaix added one each after the break.

Hibernian stayed level on points with Rangers, when winning 2-0 at Montrose. Rosie Livingstone had Hibs ahead although it was stoppage-time before Kathleen McGovern got their second.

Hearts put six past Queen’s Park, Kayla Jardine and Sade Adamolekun each with a brace, one each by Ashleigh Williams and Georgia Timms.

Motherwell made sure of a top-six berth when coming from behind to beat ten-player Aberdeen. Toni Leigh Finnegan netted twice to turn the game in the Dons’ favour after a Rachel Todd opener. But the visitors lost Niamh Noble to a straight red card, Bailley Collins levelling from the free-kick, with Eilidh Austin and Louisa Boyes also on target.

Aimee Anderson’s hat-trick helped Spartans to a 6-1 victory over Dundee United. Zara Andrews and Robyn McCafferty put them two up before Alix Moodie replied, Mya Christie making it 3-1 before Anderson’s 20-minute treble.
