Glasgow City stayed top of the Scottish Women’s Premier League by three points from Celtic, with Rangers a further point behind.

Leaders Glasgow City came through 3-0 at Hearts, where they were oe up for much of the match from an Emily Whelan finish. Two goals were added in the last 18 minutes, Jenna Clark netting via a corner and Lauren Davidson putting away a penalty after Beatriz Prades was brought down.
Celtic were held to a goalless first half at Spartans, Jacynta Galabadaarachchi then coming on and taking only three minutes to find the net. Olivia Fergusson doubled the lead on 63 minutes and moments later the hosts conceded an own-goal.
Third-placed Rangers were 4-0 winners over Hibernian on Thursday, Hannah Davison heading home from two Tessel Middag corners, Kirsty Howat also bagging a brace.
Motherwell went sixth after Tuesday’s 2-0 victory at Glasgow Women, Carla Boyce with a goal in either half.
Partick Thistle then took that from them with Wednesday’s defeat of Hamilton, Cara Henderson heading home near to half-time.
Dundee United leapfrogged Aberdeen into ninth with a 2-1 win away to the Dons. Goals from Tammy Harkin and Danni McGinley gave United a two-goal lead, Hannah Stewart replying with a late penalty and Claire Delworth sent off for a second booking.
