Scotland Women’s U-17 squad named for UEFA Elite Round in Edinburgh

Scotland U-17s after qualifying for the UEFA Elite Round.

Scotland U-17s’ head coach Pauline MacDonald has selected a 20-strong playing group ahead of her side’s UEFA Elite Round fixtures later this month, reports scottishfa.co.uk.

Six of the squad ply their trade with Celtic, including striker Kathleen McGovern and defender Chloe Warrington.

MacDonald’s players will welcome Germany, Norway and the Republic of Ireland to Edinburgh at the end of March, as they look to book their place at the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship in Bulgaria at the beginning of May.

23 March – Scotland v Norway (Oriam, 4.30pm)

26 March – Scotland v Republic of Ireland (Ainslie Park, 2.30pm)
