Scotland edged Serbia 1-0 in their UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Qualifying Group decider, to step back up to League A.

Kirsty Smith hit the crossbar from outside the box, before Scotland went ahead six minutes short of the interval.

Lisa Evans’ cross came through to Kirsty Hanson for a finish at the back post.

Serbia’s keeper kept out a header from Evans, with Hanson this time providing the cross.

Straight after the interval, Smith blocked a goal-bound shot and goalkeeper Eartha Cumings palmed away a Damnjanović effort.

Erin Cuthbert forced a save, before Cumings was back in action to turn away a shot by Čanković.

Scotland now await Friday’s draw that will determine whom they play in October’s play-offs for Euro 2025.
