Scotland defeated Hungary 4-0 on the night and 5-0 on aggregate to reach the final qualifying round of play-offs for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.

Their first leg lead was doubled 17 minutes in, when Samantha Kerr hit the crossbar and went in off the back of goalkeeper Lauren Brzykcy.

Erin Cuthbert further extended Scotland’s advantage just after the half hour, then ten minutes into the second half Lisa Evans’ pass was cleverly teed up by Martha Thomas for Caroline Weir to finish emphatically.
