Scotland U-19s Face Turkish Test

Scotland lost 2-1 to Hungary in the UEFA U-19 Championship qualifiers, despite the mini-tournament hosts only managing one shot on target, and next face a crucial tie with Turkey.

The game remained goalless until the 89th minute when from their first effort on target, Katalin Tolnai gave Hungary the lead.

To add insult to injury, Amy Muir then conceded a stoppage-time own goal off a delivery by Adrienn Oláh.

However, a win over Turkey on Tuesday lunchtime will still see the Scots seal a place in the Elite Round.

The Turks went ahead of Scotland on goal-difference after beating Armenia 5-0, including a hat-trick by Ece Türkoğlu.
