Paris St Germain Féminines edged Olympique Lyonnais 1-0 on Friday evening, ending Lyon’s incredible 80-match unbeaten run.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto’s goal just 10 minutes in at the Parc des Princes, was enough to inflict the defending league and European champions’ first defeat in the French top flight since 12 December 2016.

The result saw PSG leapfrog Lyon to the top of the table, one point ahead of their rivals from nine games played.
