In the Edinburgh derby, SWPL 1 leaders Hibernian edged SWPL 2 top team Hearts by the only goal of the game to reach the Scottish Building Society SWPL Cup quarter-finals.

Kirsten Reilly’s 25-yard strike from a Chelsea Cornet ball 7 minutes before half time proved enough for Hibs to advance past Hearts.
Stirling University were restricted to a 2-1 victory by Glasgow Girls, Ciara Bonner’s goal direct from a corner cancelled out by Lucy McEwan before Abby Callaghan won it with 10 minutes left.
Forfar Farmington went through by a similar score against FC Kilmarnock, Cheryl Kilcoyne and Danni McGinley striking in a four-minute spell and Colette Fleming pulling one back on 84 minutes.
Spartans were 4-0 winners at Hamilton Academical with all the goals in the second half. Tegan Reynolds, Louise Mason and Beth Mackay (twice) hit the target, the latter win one on the rebound from Kaela McDonald-Nguah’s shot onto the crossbar.
Rangers also came away 4-0 victors at Partick Thistle, where Holly Napier, a double from Carla Boyce and a Chelsie Watson header all came before the break.
There were three big wins as Celtic sank Dundee United 7-0 with a hat-trick for Kathleen McGover, Glasgow City netted nine at St Johnstone where Kirsty Howat and Hayley Lauder notched trebles, while Motherwell ran in thirteen at Hutchison Vale, Mhari Fyfe leading the way with four, Lori Gardner getting three.
