Wales drew the friendly with Portugal 1-1 in Guimaraes after a Rachel Rowe equaliser but had Sophie Ingle sent off.

Ana Rute rattled Olivia Clark’s crossbar from outside the area, Gemma Evans’ last-ditch tackle denied the home side, before Telma Encarnacao curled the ball into the far corner in front of the crowd of 11,055.

Jess Fishlock tested Patricia Morais shortly before Wales levelled in the 73rd minute, when Rachel Rowe’ s volley from the edge of the area found bottom corner of the net.

Clark prevented Marques Borges from restoring Portugal’s lead, then in the final moments Ingle was shown a second yellow card.
