Republic of Ireland’s squad has been finalised for this month’s friendlies away to Italy and home to Wales.

Ireland first face Italy on Friday 24 February (live on RTÉ NewsNow at 5,15pm) and it will be the first international game to be played in Viola Park since the state-of-the-art training complex – which is the home base for ACF Fiorentina – opened in October 2023.

Eileen Gleeson’s side then return to Dublin to host Wales at Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday February 27, with the match live on RTÉ2 at 7.30pm.

The games are part of preparations for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2025 Qualifiers, which kick off in April following the draw on 5 March.

Niamh Fahey, Aoife Mannion, Jess Ziu and Leanne Kiernan all return from long-term injuries, while there is a first call-up for Wake Forest University forward Emily Murphy.
