Rangers’ two latest new signings for the 2020 Scottish Women’s Premier League season are goalkeeper Megan Cunningham and midfielder Kirsten Reilly.
Cunningham joins from Celtic and former Hibernian player Reilly returns north of the border from Bristol City, both signing profressional contracts along with Brogan Hay and Emma Brownlie, who also agreed new 18-month deals.
On the signing of Reilly, Women’s and Girls’ Football Manager, Amy McDonald told rangers.co.uk:
“We knew straight away she would be an excellent fit for the team we are building and we’re delighted she is signing for us. She has an excellent understanding of the Scottish league & we look forward to her bringing both her professionalism and experience.”
Reilly commented: “It is a privilege to be here, especially from the outset of this new journey that Rangers are taking and I am really excited to get started.”
Cunningham said: “This league could grow into something really really competitive and really good for females coming into the game and the younger generation coming through.”
