Plymouth Argyle ran out 8-0 winners over Torquay United in the Devon FA Women’s Cup Final at Coach Road on Friday evening.
The Premier League Pilgrims were two up in 25 minutes against their South West Regional opponents, with Katie Middleton slotting home two penalties both won by Zoe Cunningham.
Kayley Lane tapped in the third before the break when Tash Knapman’s effort came back off the post.
Knapman scored herself 3 minutes after the restart and Lane capped a good move in making it 5-0 on 70 minutes.
Lane’s cross led to Knapman heading home her second goal and Lane then completed her hat-trick when nodding in from a corner.
Knapman then also got her treble, just before the final whistle.
