Partick Thistle Women defeat Hibs to reach Sky Sports Cup final

Partick Thistle will play Rangers in the Sky Sports SWPL Cup Final following their 2-0 victory over ten-player Hibernian at Petershill Park.

Linzi Tylor opened the scoring with a 27th-minute free kick, Hibs were soon reduced to ten players with a second yellow card for Leah Eddie. A Rosie Slater rocket close to the hour mark doubled the Jags’ lead

Boroughmuir Thistle 0-2 Glasgow Women
Livingston 1-0 Kilmarnock
St Johnstone P-P Stirling University
Gartcairn 3-2 Queen’s Park

Bottom of the table Gartcairn gained a second win of the campaign, as they inflicted a second loss for leaders Queen’s Park. Megan Wands and Abby Skelton gave the hosts a 2-0 lead, Kaela McDonald-Nguah mafde it 3-1 straight after the break and although the Spiders quickly reduced the arrears again, they could not find an equaliser.

Livingston edged Kilmarnock 1-0 to leapfrog them into second place, Courtney McAvoy finding the net before the hour mark.

Glasgow Women climbed out of the bottom two with both goals of the game at Boroughmuir Thistle. Elisha Duff secured the victory on 79 minutes, after an early own goal by the hosts.
