Second-placed Swansea City took the points 2-1 at winless Pontypridd United. A Clare Daley own-goal and Katy Hosford effort had the Swans two up, Ffion Simmonds pulling one back.

Ponty are now eight points adrift at the bottom, after Barry Town United downed fourth-placed The New Saints 4-1. Danielle Broadhurst, Chloe Tiley plus subs Amelia Herbert and Aimee Deacon all netted for Barry, before TNS got a late consolation.

Caldicot Town defeated Pontardawe Town 4-2 for a first win of the season, which saw them leapfrog their visitors in the table.
