Arsenal are close to a sell out at the Emirates for their derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The Gunners currently trail the leading pair by three points, although Manchester City would go top and six points ahead of Arsenal if they beat Everton in the Saturday lunchtime game.
Mid-table Spurs then take on their north London rivals in Sunday’s early kick off, the day ending with Chelsea away to Leicester City.
Manchester United are seven points short of the Champions League places prior to visiting West Ham, while Aston Villa entertain Liverpool and a basement battle sees Bristol City trailing visitors Brighton by five points.
The Barclays Women’s Championship title race has the top four only one point apart, with leaders Sunderland hosting third-placed Southampton. Crystal Palace are second and home to fifth-placed Birmingham City, fourth-in-the-table head across the capital to take on a Watford battling to escape the relegation zone.
Lewes are three points from safety and have home advantage over Sheffield United, Reading versus London City Lionesses is a meeting of the two teams just above the drop zone, while Blackburn Rovers and Durham go head-to-head with a single point separating them.
