York City held FA Women’s National League Division 1 North leaders Leeds United to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday 19 October.
There were 2,280 at the LNER Stadium, to see Jess Holder put City ahead after the interval and Abbie Brown soon equalise for United.
The result leaves York in sixth place and doubles Leeds’ advantage at the top to two points.

Meanwhile in Division 1 South East, Chesham United thrashed Hounslow 9-1 in the basement battle, Gemma Fraser hitting a hat-trick.
