Nottingham Forest’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup 4th round tie against Manchester City is to be held at The City Ground.
The tie on Saturday 29 January (1pm) will be the second Forest Women’s fixture at The City Ground this season, after a FAWNL record crowd of 4,443 saw the clash with Derby County.
Head Coach Andy Cook told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “Since this draw was made we have all been excited at the prospect of playing Manchester City and the challenge that will pose for us as a team.
“It’s a big occasion for our club and for our players, but we want to cause an upset and we’ll prepare as well as we can for the game.
“That’s the beauty of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup and we’ll look to use that to our advantage. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain against a side full of international stars.
“We’re delighted to be playing the fixture at The City Ground again following the record-breaking attendance earlier this season against Derby County and it adds even more excitement to the tie.”
Admission is £5 for adults, £3 for the over 65s, £3 students and £1 for under-18s, with tickets available here.
