Chelsea FC Women have agreed a deal to sign Guro Reiten from LSK Kvinner, with the forward officially joining the Blues on 15 July.
The 24-year-old is a versatile player who has finished top scorer in Norway’s Toppserien for each of the past three seasons and is also the league’s current Player of the Year.
She has played through all the Norway youth teams to make 36 appearances for the A team to date and is in the squad for the World Cup.
Reiten told chelseafc.com: “It will be a new challenge for me and I am very much looking forward to it, also in order to push myself to take the next step in my development as a person and as a player.”
Manager Emma Hayes added: “Guro is one of the most talented creative players in the world and she will be a super addition to our football club.”
