Northern Ireland manager Alfie Wylie has named his squad to face European Champions Netherlands in their next FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier, reports irishfa.com.

Netherlands, who currently sit top of Group 3, were 7-0 winners the last time the two teams met back in April at the PSV Stadion in Eindhoven.

Goalkeeper Jackie Burns returns to the squad in place of Emma Higgins who suffered an injury during the defeat against the Netherlands. Burns, who is currently playing at Carson Newman University in America, is joined by 17 year old keeper Lauren Perry.

Former U-19 duo Emma McMaster and Louise McDaniel are also part of the panel with Everton striker Simone Magill a notable absentee due to injury.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier will be held on Friday 8 June at Shamrock Park, Portadown with kick off at 7:30pm and free entry to all supporters.
