Promoted Newcastle United and Portsmouth play their first-ever Barclays Women’s Championship fixtures as the second-tier’s season kicks off this Sunday.
Newcastle travel to London City Lionesses new base at Bromley for the live-streamed game, while Pompey visit last season’s runners-up Charlton Athletic at The Valley.
Portsmouth will be without the injured Jazz Younger and Ella Humphrey for the clash with the Addicks, who were just a point short of champions Crystal Palace.
Birmingham City versus Sunderland is a meeting of two of the other title chasers from last term, the Blues ended fifth while the Black Cats finished third.
Southampton were fourth in a very competitive promotion battle and start the new campaign at home to relegated Bristol City.
Durham have home advantage over Sheffield United, who took seventh spot in 2023/24 with six more points than the Wildcats.
Blackburn Rovers are without a game after Reading dropped down to the Southern Regional League.
