N.Ireland to face Montenegro in UEFA Women’s Nations League play-off

Northern Ireland have been drawn against Montenegro in the UEFA Women’s Nations League promotion/relegation play-offs.

The Irish will play the away leg first in February 2024, as they bid to stay in League B and avoid the drop to League C.

The result of the draw for the Nations League semi-finals, pits Spain against Netherlands and France with Germany.

The semis are on Friday 23 February, with the first named side at home, the final and third-place match are scheduled for five days later.

UWNL Semi-Finals (one leg)

Spain v Netherlands

France v Germany

The winner of the tie between Spain and Netherlands will host the final, the losing side stage the third-place match.

The following promotion/relegation ties will be played between 21 and 28 February.

League A/B play-offs (two legs)

Serbia v Iceland

Bosnia and Herzegovina v Sweden

Hungary v Belgium

Croatia v Norway

League B/C play-offs (two legs)

Latvia v Slovakia

Montenegro v Northern Ireland

Bulgaria v Ukraine
