Simone Boye Sorensen to sign for Hammarby

Danish international defender Simone Boye Sørensen is to leave Arsenal and join Swedish side Hammarby on a permanent transfer.

Sørensen joined the Gunners from Bayern Munich last summer and made a total of 14 appearances for Arsenal.

The 30-year-old now returns to the Damallsvenskan, where she previously played for both Brøndby and Rosengård.

She takes the experience of over 70 caps for her country to Hammarby, with her move to be completed from 3 August at the opening of the transfer window in Sweden.
