Host team Australia won the Cup of Nations four-team tournament with a perfect record, completed by a 3-0 result over Argentina.

Sam Kerr gave them a great start with a headed goal just 5 minutes in and Alanna Kennedy nodded in the second before the break.

Soledad Jaimes threatened to get Argentina back in the game with what would have been their first goal of the competition but in added time Steph Catley won a penalty which Caitlin Foord converted.

South Korea beat New Zealand 2-0 in the other game on the final day to take the runners-up spot.

Chelsea’s Ji So-yun broke the deadlock on 74 minutes and Moon Mi-ra made sure of the win with the second goal.
