Scotland ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over Israel in UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying League B Group 2 tie, played in Budapest.
Sophie Howard and Kirsty Hanson had both seen opportunities kept out, before Martha Thomas opened the scoring in the 14th minute.
Israel scrambled an effort off the line, before Thomas got her second to double the lead on 37 minutes with a glancing header from a Lisa Evans cross.
With 17 minutes to go, Thomas completed her first Scotland hat-trick when volleying home from another cross by Evans.
Thomas then got her and Scotland’s fourth goal of the game, heading in from a Nicola Docherty delivery.
Jane Ross saw her effort turned over for a corner, from which Chelsea Cornet smashed home a loose ball following a block on the line.
Scotland now have ten points from four games in the group with two more to follow in July, as they bid to stay top of the table and gain promotion to League A.
