Manchester United have made former Arsenal defender Dominique Janssen their first summer signing on a three-year contract, with an option for a further year.
She won the WSL title, Conti Cup twice and FA Cup while with the Gunners, for whom she played 66 times, before moving to Wolfsburg.
Playing 98 games and scoring 20 goals for the German side, she helped them lift the Frauen Bundesliga title twice and DFB Cup three times.
On the international stage, Janssen has chalked up over 100 caps for the Netherlands and was part of their Euros triumph in 2017.
Janssen told manutd.com: “I’m delighted to be at such a big club like Manchester United. Signing here is a really proud moment for me, and I cannot wait to now return to the English league and create new winning moments with this talented Manchester United team.”
Head coach Marc Skinner said: “Dominique is a proven winner, both domestically and internationally. Her winning mentality is an important addition to our team, and her notable playing experience will enhance our entire dressing room. We are delighted to welcome Dominique into our Manchester United family.”
