
Here we take a look at the Manchester City Women fixtures for the 2025-26 Women’s Super League (WSL) season, after they were released on Friday morning.
WSL fixtures released: Who will Manchester City open the season against?
Manchester City Women will start their 2025-26 WSL season against reigning champions Chelsea on the opening day of the season.
The game will take place on the evening of Friday, September 5th, and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Their fixtures in the opening month also include home clashes with Brighton and London City Lionesses, as well as an away trip to Tottenham.
The first Manchester Derby will take place on Sunday, November 16th, with City being the hosts.
Manchester United will then welcome their local rivals on Sunday, March 29th.
City will conclude the season away at West Ham United.
City go into the season with new manager Andree Jeglertz and will hope to build on a fourth-place finish last season.
Also in the WSL fixtures for the 2025-26 season, the opening weekend games include Arsenal vs London City Lionesses and the Merseyside Derby.

Who have Manchester City signed this summer?
So far this summer, Manchester City have signed three players.
Swiss full-back Iman Beney has joined from Young Boys, Jade Rose has joined from Harvard University, and Sydney Lohmann has signed from Bayern Munich.
The club have lost some big names with Chloe Kelly joining Arsenal on a permanent deal, Laia Aleixandri joining Barcelona and Jill Roord joining FC Twente.
