London Bees sign Wales international

Former Reading defender Chelsea Jumratie (20) joins London Bees following a spell in America with Baylor Bears and is currently on camp with the Welsh National Team.

The Bees say that their new signing will join up with her team mates next week for full training in the build up to the next WSL 2 match with Watford.

Jumratie told londonbeeswsl.com: “I’m delighted to have signed, London Bees are on good form and I’m excited to be part of the future of the club. I’ve been impressed in training and the standard is high so I’m just looking forward to getting back in training and working hard with the team to win games.”

Manager Luke Swindlehurst added: “I’m really pleased to welcome Chelsea and I’m sure she will be a good addition to the squad, having a natural left foot and strong physical attributes. I’m confident she can develop with us here at the Bees. The squad now has players to cover every position and competition for places is tough which is a good thing. The options we have now will give us greater depth and versatility all over the pitch.”
