FA Women’s Championship side, London Bees have confirmed that they have parted company with manager Lee Burch.

Burch joined the Bees in the summer of 2019, guiding the club to a fifth-place finish in the league.

In a club statement, the Bees said: Following a challenging 2020/21 campaign so far, the club say they and Burch have mutually agreed to part company. With the continued difficulties caused by the pandemic and the restrictions in place, both parties came to an agreement that this was the best step forward.

The Bees also declared ‘immense gratitude to Lee for everything he has achieved during his time at The Hive London.’

London Bees currently lie ninth in the table, just a point above the bottom two teams.
