The NIWFA / Electric Ireland Championship top two clash saw Lisburn Ladies beat St James Swifts 5-1 to open up a six-point gap.

Kerry Taggart scored twice, Sara Stevenson, Stacey Murdough and Morgan Shannon one each, a Siobhan Bell penalty having given the Swifts hope at 2-1.
Mid Ulster made the most of St James’ slip-up to leapfrog them into second place, although they were made to fight hard for their 2-1 win over Comber Rec, Mykylea Stewart and Eimear McGarrity their scorers.
Ballymena United were the big winners, hitting a dozen against Belfast Celtic thanks mainly to a four-goal haul from Megan Henry, while Killen Rangers beat East Belfast 6-1 with Chelsea Meighan also scoring four times.
Division 1
Portadown recorded a comfortable 7-1 win over Crewe United, five-goal Zoey McCallister was the star of the show.
Coleraine picked up all three points when narrowly defeating Armagh City 2-1, an Abby Alexander brace only replied to by a late strike from Amy Robinson.
Best of the Rest
Carnmoney Athletic remain top of Division 2 but Lisburn Rangers moved within one point of them, with this week’s game between the two destined to be one of the matches of the season in this section.
In Division 34 it’s as you were with the top three sides Ballynahinch, Kilmore Rec and Camlough Rovers all picking up three points, while Carnmoney Ladies won against Belfast Ravens.
Division 4 saw a comfortable win for Ballymoney United over rivals Rosario YC, a result which allowed Antrim Rovers to move into second place with two fine victories over Belfast Ravens II’s and 22nd ladies. Ambassadors’ brushed aside the challenge of Dromara Village and Killen Reserves edged home over Greenisland.
In Division 5 there was just the one game, Strabane Athletic moving back to top of the table following a fine win over Craigavon City.
