England are to travel to Portugal on Tuesday 8 October 2019 as part of an international double-header that will begin with Brazil three days before in Middlesbrough.

The fixture, which kicks off at 7pm, will be played at the Bonfim Stadium home of Primeira Liga club Vitória FC in Setúbal, approximately 40km south of the capital Lisbon.

It will be the first meeting of the two nations since the group-stage match at the 2017 UEFA EURO in Netherlands, when goals from Toni Duggan and Nikita Parris helped England to a 2-1 victory.

Lionesses head coach Phil Neville said: “This will be another important match for us as we work to be ready for EURO 2021. Like our recent fixtures in Belgium and Norway we are looking for competitive games that will challenge us and the work we are doing on the training pitch. Portugal will be a different kind of test and one we will relish.”

After the October matches, England will take on Germany at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 9 November. For FA ticket information for this fixture and the Brazil game at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Saturday 5 October, visit www.thefa.com/england/womens-seniors/lionesses-supporters-club
