England finish the year top of the UEFA European Women’s National Team coefficients overview, with Euro 2017 champions Netherlands in second place.

The rankings were calculated using three sets of results, with the 2019 World Cup qualifiers and Euro 2017 finals and preliminaries accounting for 40% of the points each, while the remaining 20% was related to the whole of the 2015 World Cup competition. Matches were considered up until to 28th November 2017.

France are in third position, followed by Switzerland, Spain and Germany, with Sweden seventh and Scotland in eighth.

Denmark and Norway are both outside the top ten, Wales occupy sixteenth, with Republic of Ireland two places behind them.

Northern Ireland sit 28th in the list, with Andorra far adrift in 48th and last position.
