Tickets for Saturday’s England Women’s fixture against Brazil at Middlesbrough FC are now sold out.
Over 30,000 supporters are set to cheer on the Lionesses as they take on their South American opponents at the Riverside Stadium, with 15,000 tickets snapped up in the first two weeks of sale alone.
Only a limited number of single seats remained on sale yesterday with The FA operating a waiting list for fans still hoping for the chance to watch Phil Neville’s side play in the North East.
However huge demand from supporters signing up to the waiting list means this has also now closed. Fans on the list will be contacted directly if any tickets are returned before Saturday’s fixture.
Meanwhile over 77,000 tickets have been sold for Germany’s trip to Wembley Stadium on Saturday 9 November; set to be a record-breaking attendance for a women’s match in England.
Fans still hoping to see the Lionesses in action this year can purchase tickets for the Germany match at TheFA.com/tickets.
