Former Pompey defender Linvoy Primus has joined Portsmouth FC Women as their club ambassador.
His role will be to help progress the club forward, while also supporting the board and the backroom staff.
Chairman Eric Coleborn told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “What a fantastic Christmas present and a great way to end a very difficult year!
“Linvoy is a legend at this football club and will be a fantastic ambassador for our club. I am a huge fan of what Linvoy has achieved both on and off the pitch.
“His tremendous charity work is well documented and he will now be a spiritual leader not just for us, but women’s football in general.”
Portsmouth go into 2021 third in the FA WNL Southern Premier Division, with their first game of the new year scheduled to be on 3 January at home to Cheltenham Town in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
