Leyton Orient were 2-0 winners over Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the final of the Reposs Isthmian Women’s Cup at Aveley FC on Wednesday 17 April.

Unbeaten Ashford, who play two levels lower than Orient in the Greater London League Premier Division, lost Nadia Peters who was stretchered off.

The FAWNL side made their seniority pay with a goal each from Hayley Barton and Leyre Bastyr.

Orient could make it a cup double, as they are in the Capital Senior Cup final on 2 May against Actonians, whom they held 3-3 away in the league just last Sunday.
