Leicester City Women forward Hannah Cain has signed a new long-term deal after an impressive finish to the 2022/23 season.
The 24-year-old joined the Foxes from Everton in June 2020 and has featured for them 27 times in all competitions, scoring five goals.
The Wales international made a successful comeback from a long-term injury to make 14 appearances for Willie Kirk’s side last term, as the team went on to secure Barclays Women’s Super League status for a third successive season.
Speaking to LCFC TV, she said: “I’m over the moon to have signed an extension. It feels like home here, so it was an easy decision. I’m excited and looking forward to what’s instore for us next season.
“The club’s morals and values align with mine and that was a strong pull for me to stay here. It genuinely feels like home, so it was easy to commit my future to the Club.”
