Kingfisher beat Kidderminster Harriers on penalties to lift the Worcestershire County FA Women’s Cup, fighting back from a 3-1 half-time deficit.

Harriers’ Dani Selmes opened the scoring for the defending champions at Malvern Town FC, with the equaliser also coming from a penalty taken by Rebecca Ankcorn.

Selmes then took just seconds to restore the lead against their West Midlands League Division 1 South rivals and Bailey-Raine Hodge put Kidderminster 3-1 with a long-range strike.

A deflected shot from Elloise Russell saw Kingfisher reduce the arrears with 20 minutes remaining and Samantha Oliver levelled to send the final straight to a shoot-out.

Kingfisher then completed their comeback with a 4-2 penalties victory.
