Kidderminster Harriers knocked higher league Stourbridge out of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on Wednesday night.

The West Midlands League side spanned two divisions to eliminate FAWNL Northern Premier in a penalty shootout after ending 1-2 at full time.

The hosts were ahead at Aggborough Stadium inside the half-hour, their leading goalscorer Eloise Harris finding the net with a powerful strike.

The visitors forced penalties with an equalizer 14 minutes from the end, as Leonie Joyce smashed the ball home from close range.

Although Harriers missed their third penalty, Stourbridge could not recover after failing to convert either of their first two.

Kidderminster won the shoot-out 4-2 and their reward is a big home time with Barclays Women’s Championship side Blackburn Rovers in the 3rd Round on Sunday 8 December.
