Broadcast picks for Barclays WSL in rounds two and three

Barclays WSL Broadcast selections

Sky Sports and the BBC have made their broadcast selections for rounds two and three of the 2022/23 Barclays Women’s Super League season.

Following on from the return of the competition on 10-11 September, Aston Villa will make their first live appearance of the season when they host Manchester City at Villa Park on Sunday 18 September. The match will be live on BBC Two and will kick-off at 12.30pm.

Later the same day, its Champions against Champions as newly promoted Liverpool will welcome last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League title winners Chelsea to Prenton Park. The match is on Sky Sports and NOW and kicks-off at 6.45pm.

The following weekend lands on a men’s international break, which sees some huge fixtures scheduled.

Arsenal and Tottenham will open the weekend’s proceedings in a north London derby at The Emirates Stadium on Saturday 24 September. The match will be screened live on BBC One and will kick-off at 1.30pm.

The following day on Sunday 25 September, a further two big matches will follow, with UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers Chelsea and Manchester City facing-off at Kingsmeadow, live on Sky Sports and NOW at 4pm.

To round the weekend off, the first Merseyside derby in three seasons will take place, with Liverpool opening up Anfield to welcome their rivals Everton. The match is live on Sky Sports and NOW and kicks-off at 6.45pm.

Remaining Barclays Women’s Super League matches will be streamed on The FA Player.

Fans overseas should check their local listings for broadcast details. Countries without a broadcast deal will see all matches available on The FA Player.
