Charlton Athletic have signed 18-year-old full-back Jorja Fox on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
Fox told cafc.co.uk: “It feels good to be here. I’ve watched the team play over the course of the season and I’ve been really impressed with the football they’ve been playing.
“I think the group is really driven, I think Karen [Hills] has created a really good environment, so I’m really excited to be a part of that and I can’t wait to get started.”
Head coach Karen Hills said: “Jorja is a fantastic young talent who we have been tracking for a while, so I am really pleased we’ve been able to bring her to Charlton.”
Club owner Thomas Sandgaard added: “We want to bring in a few players to help us during the January window and Jorja is an excellent addition who is highly rated at Chelsea. I’m looking forward to watching her play in a Charlton shirt.”
