Fiorentina Women’s FC reports that it has acquired the rights to the Danish national team defender Janni Arnth from Arsenal.
Arnth will ironically soon meet her former teammates as they are set to clash in the Champions League next month.
In her spell with the Gunners, Arnth helped them to the FA WSL title and to the Conti Cup final.
She is close to a century of caps for Denmark, with whom she won a European Championship runners-up medal in 2017 and reached the semi-finals in 2013.
The 32-year-old has been included in the Danes’ squad for their first two WEURO 2021 qualifiers.
