Hearts have joined Rangers in the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup Final after a 3-0 victory over Spartans at Hampden Park.

Alicia Yates tipped a 25-yeard effort from Forsyth onto the crossbar but close to half time Carly Girasoli and Georgia Timms combined to set up Kaye Mooney, who made the breakthrough for Hearts.

After the interval Monica Forsyth again hit the bar from distance, before crossing for substitute Kathleen McGovern to head home.

McGovern turned provider in the 90th minute, her delivery nodded in by Girasoli as Hearts cemented their place in the final for 26 May.
