Hashtag United will play three FA Women’s National League Division 1 winners in pre-season after finishing runners-up at the same level.
Missing out on promotion to the third tier by a single point, the Essex side take on three teams who have succeeded in making that step up.
Their opening match on Sunday 3 July in a tough one too, away to FAWNL Southern Premier runners-up Oxford United.
A fortnight later they go to South West champions Cheltenham Town, then to Midlands winners Boldmere St Michaels on 24 July and Liverpool Feds – who won Division 1 North – two weeks after that.
There’s a long trip scheduled on 14 August to Championship side Sunderland, which is subject to the start date for the league campaign.
