Glentoran Women net nine, Mid Ulster claim first win

Glentoran net nine goals at Ballymena United to maintain a 100% record in the Sports Direct NIFL Women’s Premiership, Mid Ulster claim a first win.

Kerry Beattie, Emily Wilson, Caragh Hamilton and a Natasha Bamford own goal had Glentoran three up at half time, six goals followed in the last half-hour from Sarah Tweedie, Joely Andrews, Chloe McCarron, Rachel McIntyre and a second for Beattie.

Mid Ulster were ahead against Derry City in the opening minute through Eimear McGarrity but had to wait until the 79th-minute goal from Aimee McClure to seal the points.
