Glasgow City and Scotland goalkeeper Lee Gibson extends her stay at the club for whom she has made 217 appearances until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Gibson was a key figure in the SWPL title run-in last campaign, with some big saves including late on at Ibrox which helped City secure the title.
Commenting on her new deal, Gibson said: “I am really happy to be extending my contract here at City. I have been incredibly fortunate to represent the club creating so many incredible moments and lots of amazing memories here. Looking forward to working alongside the players and staff here to create even more!”
Head Coach Leanne Ross said: “I am delighted Lee has extended her contract at the club. It is difficult to emphasis just how important Lee is to us and what she has contributed to the continued success we have enjoyed as a club, but her record more than speaks for itself.
“We have been so fortunate to have a goalkeeper of Lee’s calibre at City for so many years. She is someone who demands the highest of standards from herself and her teammates every single day and that is why she can continually deliver top level performances.
“Lee is the ultimate professional and a hugely influential leader on and off the pitch. Having been her teammate, and now her coach, I know more than most what Lee can contribute to this team, and it is for that reason I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue working together.”
