Georgia Stanway leaves Man City Women for Bayern Munich

Georgia Stanway will leave Manchester City when her contract runs out in June and join Bayern Munich on a three-year deal.

The 23-year-old England midfielder departs as Manchester City’s top scorer with 67 goals and made well over 100  appearances for the club since her senior debut aged 16.

Stanway won seven trophies with City, including the WSL title in 2016.

She joins a Bayern side that finished second in the Frauen Bundesliga this season.
