Four England players have been included in the FC 26 Women’s Team of the Year

EA Sports have announced that four England players have been named in the FC 26 Women’s Team of the Year.

The nominees were previously revealed last week, with the final XI decided by fans in voting online and in-game.

Nine England players were included on the shortlist, with four included in the FC 26 Women’s Team of the Year.

Which England players were included in the Team of the Year?

Arsenal striker Alessia Russo was one of four Lionesses voted into the Team of the Year.

The England striker was a vital part of England’s Euro 2025 success, and also helped Arsenal win the Champions League.

England dominated the defence in the Team of the Year, with Leah Williamson, Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright all included in the selection.

Bright missed out on Euro 2025, but won a domestic treble, alongside Bronze, for Chelsea.

Surprisingly, there was no place in the XI for Yachine Trophy winner Hannah Hampton. Hampton has won a host of awards in 2025 and has been included in several prestigious Team of the Years.

However, she has been beaten in FC 26 to the goalkeeper spot by Lyon’s Christiane Endler.

Other England players who missed the cut were Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh, Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly.

Stanway has been in the news after announcing she would leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The midfielder is widely expected to join Arsenal at the end of her contract, amid reports the two parties have already held talks.

Barcelona are the most represented club team with four players, including Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati, Ewa Pajor and Claudia Pina.

Arsenal have three players, while Chelsea and Lyon both have two.
