Cardiff Met made it through to the FAW Women’s Cup Final but the newly-crowned Welsh Premier champions only had a narrow 3-2 victory over bottom of the league Briton Ferry Llansawel.

The West Wales side even took the lead 20 minutes in through Laura Braithwaite but Cardiff Met were quickly back on level terms with a Chloe Tiley goal.

Madison Schupbach put the Archers 2-1 up 5 minutes into the second half, then shortly after the hour mark Robyn Pinder won a penalty which Naomi Clipston converted for a two-goal cushion.

Briton Ferry were immediately back in the match through, Lucy Powell also netting from the spot.

The other semi-final between Abergavenny and Cardiff City FC Women was postponed.
