Bethany England is the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Month for February 2020, while Emma Hayes receives the Managers’ award.

England’s POTM honour is her second of the year, while Hayes now has three MOTM awards this season.

Emma Hayes guided the Blues to three home wins without conceding once in February, beginning with an 8-0 thrashing of West Ham, afterwhich Birmingham City were beaten 2-0 and then Liverpool 1-0 in the Women’s FA Cup 5th Round.

The single away match was a 3-3 thriller at title rivals Manchester City, not forgetting the dramatic 2-1 Conti Cup final success over Arsenal at the City Ground.

England – who is set to start for the Lionesses against Japan this evening – bagged a brace against the Hammers, sealed victory over Birmingham, rifled home her side’s third at Man City and got both goals against the Gunners, the second in added time.
