Crawley Wasps made the League Cup final at their first attempt with a single-goal success over Bolton Wanderers. A Rachel Palmer’s 55th-minute free kick which deflected off a defender and trickled over the line was the difference between the sides.

Two goals in a minute sent Blackburn Rovers on their way to a 4-0 victory over Loughborough Foxes, Lagan Makin’s opener swiftly followed by a fine Natasha Flint effort. Saffron Jordan and another for Makin settled the match midway through the second half.

The Cup final will be on 28th April, with details to be announced shortly.

Demi Devereaux’s cross was spilled into the net to put Liverpool Feds ahead against Milton Keynes but the Dons turned it round with two goals before Feds forced extra-time with a 64th-minute equaliser from an own-goal. The Divison 1 North side were also in front early in the added half-hour through Devereaux but the hosts again hit back twice to take the tie.

Gillingham and West Brom were both denied by the woodwork before Chloe Fowler’s strike from outside the box on 49 minutes proved to be the winner.
