Northern Premier – Fylde narrowly in front of Forest
Fylde’s 4-2 victory over Hull City has them top by virtue of goals scored, ahead of Nottingham Forest who took the points at Stoke 3-2 with Becky Rayner scoring twice. Middlesbrough beat Burnley with a second-half decider, Katie Nutter’s brace helped Huddersfield sink Sunderland 3-0, Derby defeated West Brom 4-2 and Sheffield FC got off the mark with a 3-1 success against Loughborough.
Southern Premier – Fourth straight win for Watford
Watford lead the table by three points after a 3-2 result at Gillingham, second-placed Oxford United downed Crawley Wasps 3-1. Yeovil are up to third following their 3-2 score at Keynsham, Chichester & Selsey picked up the points 3-1 at Plymouth and MK Dons put four past Hounslow.
Division 1 – Wolves continue goal-scoring spree
Wolves lead the Midlands by five points with another big win, 9-0 over Solihull as Jade Cross scored four times in 20 minutes. Doncaster went third with a 3-0 win at Holwell, Bedworth got going with a single-goal success over Long Eaton.
There were just two games played and one goal scored in the Northern, Leeds United holding leaders Chester le Street and Newcastle banked their first points with a narrow win over Norton, Georgia Gibson the scorer.
Ipswich recorded a third win in a row 4-0 versus Cambridge City, Paige Peake with two of the goals. Kent Football United’s opening victory came 2-o at Stevenage.
Chesham are level on points with South West leaders Southampton FC, netting seven times against Brislington. Exeter slipped to third after being held 1-1 at home by Southampton Women’s for the visitors first point, Rhian Robbins got a couple as Larkhall shared six goals with Cheltenham.
